The 2016 Seattle Storm home schedule features a pair of visits from the defending WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx, including an Opening Night matchup on Sunday, May 22. On Friday, June 3, the Storm hosts the 2014 champion Phoenix Mercury, which features Diana Taurasi and Brittney Griner. Tamika Catchings will play her final game in Seattle when the Storm faces Indiana on July 10, while reigning WNBA MVP Elena Delle Donne and the Chicago Sky come to town on July 17 and September 18.
Fans are invited to celebrate Father’s Day with the Storm on June 19, when Seattle hosts Minnesota at 4 p.m. On June 24, the Storm will kick off Seattle Pride weekend against the Connecticut Sun, with tipoff scheduled for 7 p.m. The Atlanta Dream comes to town on June 28 for a 7 p.m. game on Native American Heritage Night. The Aug. 26 game at 7 p.m. vs. Los Angeles is Breast Health Awareness Night presented by Swedish Cancer Institute. Seattle will host Hoops for Heroes Night on Sept. 11 at 4 p.m. against Los Angeles followed by Fan Appreciation Night for the season finale on Sept. 18 at 4 p.m. against Chicago.
Every Sunday home game is scheduled to tip off at 4 p.m. PT. All other home games, save for the July 20 matchup with San Antonio (12 p.m. tipoff), will start at 7 p.m.
