All fans entering KeyArena regardless of age must have a valid ticket to gain admission to the arena.

KeyArena is located at 401 1st Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109.
KeyArena is located on Seattle Center campus which is located at 305 Harrison St., Seattle, WA 98109.


For safety and as a courtesy to other guests, aisles must be kept clear at all times. Please follow the directions of the usher in your section to your assigned ticketed seat and refrain from standing in the aisles.

Alcohol Serving and Consumption

KeyArena and its food and beverage concessionaires have adopted an alcohol policy that is designed to protect Guests and the community from alcohol-related incidents. In addition to our responsible alcohol service guidelines below, KeyArena offers a designated driver program at all events.
Guests are expected to obey all state and local laws governing the purchase, possession, and consumption of alcohol. It is illegal for anyone under the age of 21 to consume alcoholic beverages. In addition, the following items are to be noted:

  • Alcoholic beverages will not be served in containers larger than 16 ounces.
  • There shall be a maximum limit of two alcoholic beverages sold to each Guest, per purchase.
  • All Guests will be asked to show positive identification prior to being served alcoholic beverages. Acceptable forms of valid United States identification are: Driver’s License, Passport, State Issued I.D. Card w/ Photo, and Military I.D. w/ Photo.
  • KeyArena reserves the right to eject anyone under the age of twenty one (21) who is observed to be consuming alcohol on the premises or who appears to be visibly intoxicated.
  • KeyArena and its food and beverage concessionaires will implement ongoing responsible alcohol management training sessions for its serving staff.
  • At WNBA events, service of alcohol will stop when the official game clock indicates 10-minutes until the end of the game.


Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited with the exception of service animals for guests with disabilities and/or special needs. Services animals are welcomed into the building and must remain on a leash or harness at all time

Assistive Listening Devices

Assistive listening devices are available at the Information Booths located on the Main Concourse at Sections 117 & 103. Patrons are asked to leave a picture ID in exchange for headset.

ATM Locations

KeyBank ATMs are located in the following location:

  • Main Concourse, aisle 127.

For our guests’ convenience, most KeyArena concession stands, bars, and merchandise kiosks accept all major credit cards, including American Express.


All bags/purses larger than 14" x 14" (i.e. totes, beach bags, etc.) are prohibited.  All backpacks and suitcases of any size are prohibited from entry into the arena. All bags will be searched.  


Guests are welcome to bring their personal binoculars for most events at KeyArena. Binocular rentals are not available.

Box Office

The KeyArena West Box Office (located off of 1st Ave N) is open Monday – Saturday from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. Tickets purchased at the West Box Office for all KeyArena events are available with no service charge. The East Box Office is open on event days beginning two hours prior to the event. All general Will Call can be picked up at the East Box Office.

No commercial or flash photography of any kind is permitted. Camcorders or any other audio/visual equipment is prohibited unless authorized by team/promoter or performer. Specifically, the use of the following equipment is not permitted:

  • Lenses greater than three-and-one-half inches in length
  • Telephoto or zoom lenses of any kind
  • Interchangeable lenses of any kind
  • Monopods, tripods or selfie sticks
  • Flash equipment of any kind
  • High definition recording device, like GoPros
  • Tablets

Child Admissions

Child admissions policies are set by the promoter for each individual event.  For most events at KeyArena, children including those under 2 years of age will not be admitted into KeyArena without a ticket.

Code of Conduct

KeyArena at Seattle Center is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, accessible and enjoyable environment.  Our Guest Code of Conduct has been established to ensure that your entertainment experience is consistent with that commitment. 

KeyArena staff (or its’ representatives) may intervene in order to enforce the following prohibited actions and items:

  • Behavior that is unruly, abusive, or illegal
  • The use of foul or abusive language or gestures
  • Intoxication or other signs of impairment that leads to irresponsible behavior
  • Verbal or physical harassment of other guests, entertainers, event personnel and/or KeyArena personnel
  • Failure to follow the instructions of KeyArena personnel 
  • Smoking of any kind or the use of tobacco and cannabis products
  • Interference with the game or event, including the throwing of objects
  • Sitting in a seat other than one’s ticketed seat

Guests who violate the Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection without refund, and to the extent that the conduct constitutes a violation of the law, may be subject to arrest. Season ticket holders may also be subject to the revocation of their ticket privileges.

Designated Driver Program

At events with alcohol service, KeyArena has partnered with Levy Restaurants to offer a Designated Driver Program. Please visit the KeyArena Information Booths at Section 103 and/or Section 117 or speak with a Levy staff person at any open concessions stand for assistance.

All Guests must maintain reasonable and appropriate behavior at all times. Guests using offensive language or engaging in disorderly conduct may be ejected from the facility and may be subject to arrest. Ejected Guests will not receive a refund for their tickets or be compensated in any way for their loss.
Disturbances include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Standing on chairs
  • Drunk and disorderly conduct
  • Fighting or challenging others to fight
  • Exposing private body parts
  • Interference with or delay of the game/event
  • Violation of KeyArena's event policies
  • Violation of the local, state, and federal laws and statues
  • Igniting and display of flames, i.e. lighters / matches, in the facility bowl
  • Attempting to enter the field of play, court, stage or backstage areas without permission
  • Throw, discharge, or launch any liquid substance or objects
  • Willfully and maliciously disturbing another Guest / employee with loud and unreasonable noise
  • Using profanity and/or offensive words, which are likely to provoke a violent reaction from others
  • Taunting or using offensive language against the players, referees, or performers

Dress Code

All guests in attendance are required to wear a shirt and shoes at all times for their own safety. KeyArena management reserves the right to deny entry to guests wearing clothing items displaying offensive text and/or images.


There are three public elevators in the KeyArena, one in the SW corner of the building (across from aisles 118 and 218) and two in the SE corner of the building (across from aisles 124 and 224). For event level access, guests will be directed to use the elevator in the SW corner.

Entry Times

The time the doors to KeyArena open will vary according to the event (all door times are subject to change). Typically doors will open 1 hour prior to the event time noted on your ticket.
Suite Entry is available exclusively to our Luxury Suite guests.

Entry Inspection

All Guests entering the arena are subject to screening.   Screenings include bag searches and metal detection.  Some events require a pat-down search conducted by peer security personnel. The purpose of these protocols is for guest safety and to detect prohibited items.

Family Restrooms

All restrooms at KeyArena are equipped with Baby Changing Stations. In addition, there is a unisex/family restroom available on the Upper Concourse at aisle 221.

First Aid

Trained emergency medical technicians (EMT) personnel are available to assist any guest in need at every KeyArena event. First Aid offices are located on the Main Concourse at aisle 107 and on the SW event level. In addition, KeyArena is equipped with Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) located in various locations throughout the facility. Designated employees, including our EMT staff, have been properly trained and certified to use the AED. In the event of a medical emergency, contact a member of our Admissions staff for assistance.

Food and Beverage

Please visit our Food and Beverage page for information on food and beverage services. Guests may not bring food and/or beverage items into the arena during events. Glass bottles or metal cans are strictly prohibited. Guests must dispose of the unauthorized items prior to entrance into the arena or return them to their vehicle. KeyArena Admissions staff will not check-in or store any food or beverage items.

General Admission (GA) Entry

All guests with General Admission (GA) floor tickets may enter through any public entry. Entrances are located on the East end, by the International Fountain, and the West end, across from 1st Ave N.

Early line up for General Admission is on the east side of KeyArena ONLY, at the corner of 2nd Ave. N and Harrison Street, by the International Fountain and begins no earlier than 8:00 am day of show.


Guest Service/Information Booth

There are two Information Booths in the KeyArena, located on the main concourse at aisles 103 and 118.

Intoxicated Guests

KeyArena reserves the right to deny entry to intoxicated guests. Any intoxicated Guests causing a disturbance during an event will be asked to leave the facility and may be subject to arrest.


Laptops computers and tablets (such as iPads or Kindles) are prohibited from entry into KeyArena.

Laser Pointers

Laser pointers are prohibited inside KeyArena.

Lost and Found

KeyArena management assumes no responsibility for items lost at events. All lost and found items are to taken to KeyArena Information Booths during events. Guests should visit the Information Booths on the main concourse at aisles 103 and 125 during the event to inquire about lost items. After the conclusion of the event, if the lost item is not retrieved, guests may contact Seattle Center Lost and Found at 206- 684-7200 to inquire about the lost item.


Merchandise is sold from the two main KeyArena merchandise stands, located on the main concourse directly across from the East and West entries.

National Anthem Singers

To inquire about singing the National Anthem at any event at KeyArena, please contact the individual teams via their websites. Each team makes all arrangements for National Anthem singers for their home games at KeyArena.

Prohibited Items

The following is a list of items that are prohibited at all KeyArena events.

Please Note: Storage lockers are not available on site for prohibited items.

(Other items may be prohibited by the event producers. Items not specifically mentioned below but deemed by KeyArena staff as dangerous or those that will have an impact on other event guests' experience may be prohibited as well.)


  • Backpacks
  • Bags/purses larger than 14" x 14"
  • Chains over 6" in length 
  • Hula Hoops
  • Jewelry or belts of any kind containing spikes or studs
  • Large Umbrellas
  • Suitcases


  • Any outside food or beverage
  • Alcohol
  • Bota bags or wine skins
  • Glass water bottles (empty plastic water bottles are allowed)
  • Illegal drugs (including cannabis)


  • Aerosol cans
  • Balloons
  • Beach Balls
  • Cigarettes or any smoking device including e-cigs or vaporizers
  • Inflatable Items
  • Bullhorns/noise makers
  • Confetti
  • Ice chests, coolers or thermos containers
  • Laptops
  • Laser pointers
  • Poles (including signs attached to poles)
  • Professional recording devices for photography, video or audio
  • Selfie Sticks

Animals except service animals are prohibited.


We are unable to offer paging services at events.

Recording Devices

Guests may not bring audio or video recording devices into the arena. These devices include, but are not limited to, video cameras/camcorders, GoPros and audio recording devices. Any equipment not conforming to these rules must be removed from the premises or left with the KeyArena Information Booth on the Main Concourse during the event.

Re-Entry Policy

KeyArena has a "no re-entry" policy during events. Guests who wish to return a prohibited item to their vehicle or need to exit and re-enter due to personal emergencies, must first make contact with an Admissions supervisor or manager via the KeyArena Information Booths to make necessary arrangements.


KeyArena manages an extensive material and waste recycling and recovery program that includes pre- and post-consumer organic waste, cardboard, newspaper, cans, plastics, metals, glass bottles, light bulbs, batteries, paint, light fixture ballasts, wood pallets, construction debris, cooking oil, and landscape trimmings.

Seating Capacity/Configurations

Seating capacities vary for every KeyArena event. For basketball, the capacity is 17,072. For concerts and other special events, the capacity nears 15,000 guests, depending on the set-up of the event.

Unless otherwise specified by teams and/or event officials/management, KeyArena welcomes guests bringing small signs, flags, banners, and posters inside the building to show fan support during events.

The following guidelines relate to these items:

  • Item must be related to event
  • Item may not be attached to a stick/pole
  • Item may not be larger than 11" x 17" in dimension
  • Item may not obstruct any sponsors/advertisers signage
  • Item may not be hung, attached, or displayed on any part of the building
  • Item may not contain or display obscene/offensive language and/or pictures, as determined by KeyArena management
  • Item may not be constructed or displayed in a manner that mat obstruct the view of other guests or in any way create a safety hazard for others as determined by KeyArena management

Guests are not allowed to hand out pamphlets, advertisement brochures, etc. to other guests while inside the building, without prior approval from KeyArena management.

Sign Language Interpreters

KeyArena is pleased to provide signed performances for our hearing-impaired guests for select concert events. Interpretation services are not guaranteed for every event; however, we will make every effort to accommodate each request with appropriate advance notice, at least two (2) weeks prior to the event. Please contact the Box Office for further information at (206) 615-0340.

Smoking, E-Cigarettes, and Cannabis

WA State Law prohibits smoking, of of any kind (including e-cigarettes), in any public facility.  If you are caught smoking in KeyArena, you will be subject to ejection without a refund.  

Cannabis Warning
WA State Law prohibits the use of cannabis in public and specifically on any alcohol licensed premises.

WA State Law also specifically requires that anyone who uses cannabis on an alcohol licensed premises be removed from that premises immediately and without warning.
Please consider this your warning. If you use Cannabis on this premises, you will be asked to leave immediately and will not receive a refund.

Strollers are not permitted in the seating sections of the arena. We are unable to offer a stroller check service.


KeyArena has 48 private suites which hold up to 20 people, plus two suite clubs at the north and south ends, each with a capacity of 80. Suites are available for yearly lease or event-by-event rental through AEG, at (206) 428-6300.

Ticket Resale

The resale of tickets ("scalping") is against the law and will not be permitted in and around the property of KeyArena. Violators will be reported to the Seattle Police Department. In addition, in accordance with the Seattle Municipal code, guests may not sell their unused tickets to others in and around KeyArena.

To avoid problems with counterfeit, stolen or voided tickets, Guests should make your purchases through authorized outlets only.


KeyArena is unable to offer tours of the building.

Weapons Prohibited

Guests, including law enforcement personnel not present in an official capacity, are prohibited from bringing weapons into the arena. KeyArena does provide weapon lockers. See any KeyArena Admissions staff member to check your weapon. Weapons include, but are not limited to, the following: firearms, explosives, stun guns, handcuffs, brass knuckles, sticks, clubs, batons, martial arts instruments, pepper spray, tear gas, knives, etc. Guests found in possession of the above-mentioned items will be asked to remove the item from the arena or dispose of it. Guests who refuse to comply will be ejected from the arena and may be subject to arrest.

Wheelchair Escorts

Our KeyArena Admissions staff provides complimentary wheelchair escorts to Guests with special needs when requested. Escorts are available at any entry point. Please be aware that our staff will not remain with you during the event, nor will they allow you to remain in the wheelchair for the duration of the event. Also see Disabled Services.

Will Call

Will Call is located at the East Box Office, unless otherwise posted. The Will Call windows open two hours prior to the start of each event.
