Accessibility & Special Accommodations

The Guest Services department at KeyArena strives to provide excellent service to all our guests, including those guests with disabilities and special needs. KeyArena recognizes the needs of persons with disabilities and has met or exceeded the requirements of compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) and Washington accessibility mandates. KeyArena provides a full range of accommodations for guests with disabilities to ensure their safety, comfort and enjoyment of our events and facilities. The following section highlights our services.

Wheelchair Escorts

KeyArena Admissions staff provide complimentary wheelchair escorts to guests with special needs when requested. Escorts are available at any entry point. Please be aware that our staff will not remain with you during the event, nor will they allow you to remain in the wheelchair for the duration of the event.

Accessible/Disabled Tickets

Accessible/disabled seating is available on all levels of the arena. Accessible seating and parking are available through Ticketmaster and the KeyArena Box Office. When ordering accessible tickets, it is important to indicate that you require accessible seating so we can properly seat you.

There are three options for purchasing Accessible seating:
1) Visit Ticketmaster online, select the event, and click on the "Request Accessible Tickets" icon.
2) Call Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000 and request accessible tickets.
3) Visit a Ticketmaster retail outlet and request accessible tickets.

KeyArena Box Office also sells accessible seating. Please visit the Box Office page for hours and more information. For questions/concerns regarding accessible seating, please contact Seattle Center Customer Service at (206) 684-7200.

Disabled Parking

Designated parking is available for guests with disabilities in all Seattle Center parking garages. These spaces, including van-accessible spaces, are designated for vehicles displaying a current state-issued disability placard or license plate. Disabled spaces are filled on a first-come, first-served basis so please plan accordingly. Please refer to the Parking section of this website for maps, directions and more information.

ADA Drop-off Points

Thomas Street (between First and Second Avenue) at “KeyArena Suite Walkway”. Walkway leads to wheelchair ramp for entry. The walkway also leads to the Suite Entry & Disabled Entry for elevator use

First Avenue North at KeyArena West Plaza (First Ave North and Harrison St). This leads into the West Entry doors for KeyArena.

Sign Language Interpreters

KeyArena is pleased to provide signed performances for our hearing-impaired guests for select concert events. Interpretation services are not guaranteed for every event; however, we will make every effort to accommodate each request with appropriate advance notice, at least two (2) weeks prior to the event. Assistive Listening Devices (ALD)

Assistive Listening Devices are available for hearing-impaired guests at all KeyArena events. Please visit our KeyArena Information Booth located across from aisle 103 or 118 on the Main Concourse and request an Assistive Listening Device. Guests will be required to leave valid identification such as a driver’s license as collateral. This is a complimentary service.

TTY/TDD Service

All guests, including those with disabilities, are welcome and encouraged to contact Guest Services department via e-mail. Hearing/speech-impaired individuals, who have access to a TTY machine, may call TTY: 7-1-1.

Service Animals/Guide Dogs

Service animals are welcome in KeyArena and will rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability, rather than in the aisle. We suggest that the individual have proof of certification or a license for the service animal.

Emergency Evacuation Procedures

KeyArena personnel have been properly trained in emergency evacuation procedures to ensure the safe evacuation of all patrons, including those guests with disabilities, in the case of an emergency. Please pay careful attention to personnel instructions during an evacuation.

Restrooms

All restrooms facilities at KeyArena are accessible. In addition, we have a family/unisex restroom available on the Upper Concourse at aisle 221 for disabled guests with opposite gender aides/companions.

Elevators

There are three public elevators in the KeyArena, one in the SW corner of the building (across from aisles 118 and 218) and two in the SE corner of the building (across from aisles 124 and 224). For event level access, guests will be directed to use the elevator in the SW corner.
