The 12 million visits to Seattle Center each year generate $1.15 billion in business activity and $387 million in labor income for King County.
The Next Fifty
Over the past 50 years, the Pacific Northwest has been home to some of the world’s greatest innovations. These efforts and creativity produced solutions to the world’s most significant challenges. Now we are shaping the 50th anniversary of the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair and the legacy it left ---a hallmark that calls for both celebration and contemplation. For six months during 2012, our community will explore, debate, display and define a collective vision for The Next Fifty years.
